Here are some messages to keep in mind while calling:
- You’re a constituent, and you’d like your Senator to vote YES on AB 2074.
- Downtown centers in our biggest cities have struggled to recover from the impacts of COVID.
- While zoning in California’s major downtowns technically allows tall buildings, numerous restrictions still block residential uses, and discretionary permitting creates unacceptable delays.
- AB 2074 combines dense residential zoning, streamlined approvals, labor standards, and a revolving loan fund to bring housing, community, and vitality back to transit-rich downtowns in our biggest cities.
- Please vote YES on AB 2074 to help address our housing shortage and lead our urban cores through recovery and into prosperity.
