Call the State Senate to pass AB 1061!

Here are some messages to keep in mind while calling:

• You’re a constituent, and you’d like your Senator to vote YES on AB 1061.
• SB 9, passed in 2021, is a smart way to add additional density and lower-cost homes into existing residential neighborhoods, but is being blocked by the abuse of historic preservation measures.
• AB 1061 strikes a better balance between meeting our housing needs and protecting genuine historic resources.
• AB 1061 will end the abuse of historic preservation measures as a tool to block smaller, lower-cost homes by allowing SB 9 to be used in historic districts as long as an existing historic structure is not altered or demolished
• Please vote yes on AB 1061.
