Here are some messages to keep in mind while calling:
- You’re a constituent, and you’d like your Senator to vote YES on AB 956.
- ADUs provide a lower-cost, creative, and flexible housing option that meets many different types of housing needs.
- Current law prevents homeowners from building a second, detached ADU even when the property can easily accommodate it.
- AB 956 will increase the housing potential of single-family lots by empowering homeowners to build up to two detached ADUs on their properties.
- Please vote YES on AB 956.
