California YIMBY scores big hits on Chris Hayes, The Nation, and more!
This week, California YIMBY staff scored some major press hits for the pro-housing movement.
First, our new Policy Director Ned Resnikoff joined MSNBC’s Chris Hayes for a conversation about homelessness and the need for more housing. In this hour-long conversation, the two discuss how California’s housing shortage directly affects the number of unhoused people in our cities, how housing intersects with climate policy, and how California YIMBY plans to address these issues.
On top of that, Ned joined with our co-founder and CEO Brian Hanlon to contribute to this piece in The Nation, which examines whether building “luxury” condos creates more affordable housing (spoiler alert: the research suggests that it does).
California YIMBY is shaping the narrative around housing – both in California and across the country – but we can’t do it without your support.
